Delta Faucet Company has an awesome new opportunity for a Business Development Manager within our Marketing Department at the Indianapolis Headquarters!


Nature & Scope:

This position will focus on identifying and managing initiatives that deliver growth across the company and its various segments. Partnering with business segment leaders and new technology/innovation teams, this individual will develop meaningful business cases across channel penetration, product expansion or commercializing new to the world technologies. Reporting into the Director, Insights and Business Development, this position will get the support of appropriate market research and analytics required to build robust business plans.


Principal Accountabilities:


  • Pipeline Identification: Work with DFC senior leadership (SBU leads, Executive Team and R&D Team) to gather, develop and refine opportunities that are of high priority to the overall company and its segments.

  • Portfolio Management: Develop a standard work is evaluating new business opportunities and prioritize them in near and long-term opportunities across channels, products and new technology areas.

  • Innovation Commercialization: Participate in idea steering committee and assist R&D evaluate the commercial feasibility of new to the world innovations/technologies.

  • Business Case Development: When appropriate, lead business case development that drive additional revenue creation. This includes project leadership in a matrix structure and leading cross functional teams across analytics, finance, operations, engineering, sales and marketing.

Education and Experience/Skills:


The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college with a BA/BS in a business/economics/finance/engineering related field (advanced degree preferred but not required) and five plus years of related experience. Highly developed business acumen and strategic agility required. Must be able to deal with ambiguity while creatively solving problems. This person must possess highly developed communication skills and expert level proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. The individual in this role must have the ability to analyze and interpret data from various sources and apply it to business needs at Delta Faucet. It is critical to have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. First-hand experience in leading cross-functional teams and building business cases across product-based manufacturing companies is preferred.
