CRM Database Support Internship

You will be given the training and support needed to build on skills you already have and will also be contributing to the business on a daily basis when it comes to attending meetings, preparing presentations, and hitting deadlines!


Purpose:

As a CRM Database Support intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the Customer Solutions team by executing projects and/or tasks to support our contact center, Information Systems, and Product team members. This will give you a better understanding of each of these key roles within DFC and how the collaboration between them is crucial to the successful execution of our consumer support model.


Time Frame:

May 2018 to August 2018

40 hours during the Summer


Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring articles entered into Salesforce Knowledge are compatible with the process we've developed
  • Improving articles (such as grammar, missing links, change format, add pictures)
  • Complete accuracy and tagging of articles
  • Convert files to Knowledge usable format – pdf, link to YouTube channel
  • Testing of Salesforce Knowledge usability at all user levels
  • Visit vendor sites for investigation of the use of Salesforce Knowledge and improvement opportunities
  • Work closely with Product Supervisor, Customer Relationship Specialist, and Business Analyst to ensure successful utilization of Salesforce Knowledge
  • Scanning paper mail into Salesforce Cases
  • Supporting the implementation of SAP within the Customer Experience Team
  • Assist with training remediation for SAP implementation.
  • Other tasks and projects as directed

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate is working on a bachelor degree in Information Systems or Library Science, preferably a Sophomore or Junior. Proficiency in information systems, project management, database administration, keen attention to detail (especially grammar), and ability to handle multiple tasks and learn quickly. Strong communication, time management, organizational, and data management skills are required. Looking for someone who is self-motivated and highly collaborative in a team environment.
