Job Description

Delta Faucet has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and strategic Human Resources professional to provide thought leadership for program/system design and development​ to leverage scale and deliver reliability. The Director of People Services is responsible for the network of resources that provides employees, managers and HR the framework and plans for high quality, efficient, and repeatable services.This role will ensure their team delivers locally-relevant solutions, specialized program delivery and consulting as needed to support every member of the organization. The incumbent will lead all Employee Relations and serve as an escalation point when necessary.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Develop and drive consistent policies and processes, recognizing local differences when needed; continually benchmarking and researching opportunities, leveraging internal Masco and external networks
  • Direct and sustain the continued development and implementation of efficient transaction processes, teams and support systems aligned to HR strategic goals
  • Act as a change agent to drive innovation and process improvements
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for decision making and escalations ensuring service levels are met and/or exceeded and all HR operation metrics are trending in a positive direction
  • Support technology platforms for HR programs and processes; maintain HR systems of record and facilitate smooth employee life & career cycle events
  • Provide strategy and direction for flexible staffing model for hourly workforce
  • Ensure smooth facilitation and execution of additional HR processes: restructuring activities, performance mgmt. processes
  • Partner with Masco to support annual open enrollment processes; manage employee lifecycle events
  • Build and maintain departmental budget
  • Review, update and implement organizational procedures/policies to ensure operational compliance with all federal, state and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, FLSA, ACA, OFCCP, etc.)
  • Establish appropriate metrics and manage through use of data
  • Analyze breakdowns in process to ensure that lessons are learned
  • Manage vendor relationships

Education and Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area, with an MBA or advanced degree or certification, strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experienced leader with hands-on experience in Human Resources, Operations, and Program Management
  • Experience working within an HR shared services model a plus
  • Experience working in a manufacturing location highly desired
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, including the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Experience managing a team that includes remote team members
  • Strong process orientation and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems using a structured approach and set of tools
  • Strong business acumen and customer-orientation
  • Attention to detail and the demonstrated ability to lead projects on time and on budget are required
