Purpose:

Do you love working with data but also enjoy having an opportunity to work collaboratively with other individuals to achieve results? The Demand Planning team resides in the Supply Chain Department, but we work cross functionally with Sales and Marketing to develop an 18-month forecast by item that is used to plan plant operations and drive supply requirements. You will need strong technical, analytical and communication skills to analyze various data elements, effectively identify issues and share information with various levels of the company.



Responsibilities:

  • Update 20+ monthly metrics by running various reports in the forecasting tool and updating Excel spreadsheets
  • Take ownership of a segment of the business, managing the forecast with the use of our statistical software and exception reports
  • Help perform additional analysis on metrics that are not within goal to gain an understanding of root cause
  • Perform monthly analysis on materials that had late customer orders due to forecast and develop corrective countermeasures
  • Distribute weekly reports to team members and highlighting issues that need to be addressed
  • Help with various other projects and/or analysis as needed
  • Utilize our company's Goal Deployment Process and action plans to see how your role aligns with the organization's strategic objectives


Education and Experience/Skills:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or marketing
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of data
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines
