Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:

  • Updating 20+ monthly metrics by running various queries in Access and updating Excel spreadsheet.
  • Help perform additional analysis on metrics that are not within goal to gain an understanding of root cause
  • Perform monthly analysis on sku’s that had late customer orders due to forecast to understand root causeŸ
  • Distribute weekly reports to team members and review to point out issues needing action to addressŸ
  • Review forecast exception reports and make updates as necessary
  • Help with various other projects and/or analysis as needed – i.e. investigating issues causing late customer orders, forecast analysis
  • Attend various DP meetings to experience the cross functional collaboration and processes
  • Gain an understanding of our company Goal Deployment Process and other metrics and action plans to help gain alignment throughout the organization

Additional Opportunities:

  • Responsible primarily for assisting the demand planning (DP – sales forecasting) teams with metric updates, analysis and various other tasks.


  • Pursuing 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or related degree program
  • Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Information:

You will be in our Indianapolis office off Meridian and 106th street. This internship will start in May 2019 working up to 40 hours a week during the summer and continue into the Fall 2019 semester working 15 to 20 hours a week. You will be paid hourly with potential of increase based on performance each semester.
