Job Description

Delta Faucet Company has an outstanding opportunity for a talented sales professional to join our team! The National Builder Account Manager (NBAM) leads Delta Faucet’s relationship with key builders in the assigned territory to generate revenue within the new construction segment. The position requires an understanding of the complex web of influencers and decision makers involved in the sourcing decision at national & regional builders.


This position could be based anywhere in US, but our ideal candidate will be in the western US, within close proximity to airport.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Builder Strategy: Establishes an annual list of builders targeted for contract renewal or conversion to Delta. Assists Regional Sales Managers and Rep Agencies in development and execution of annual new construction sales strategy.
  • Customer Relationships: Establishes, cultivates and maintains quality relationships with key builder and new construction plumbing contractor decision makers
    • Top 100: Accountable to drive business and facilitate multi-faceted relationship between DFC management and the Builder, in addition to Rep Agencies, as appropriate.
    • 101+: Supports the Rep Agencies and Regional Sales Managers in securing business, in addition to providing strategic direction.
  • Contract Development: Negotiates contracts with national & regional builders and assists Regional Sales Managers and Rep Agencies in negotiating contracts with smaller regional & local builders. Assures national contacts are implemented consistently by the Rep Agencies.


Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree in business and five years or more years of related sales experience, preferably in the building industry or trade environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding or training within contract law training would be beneficial. This person should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner. Incumbent should possess demonstrated creativity, analytical and organizational skills. This person must be able to adapt to change and work within a flexible environment. It is critical that this individual is a highly motivated and confident professional. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is extremely beneficial. The incumbent must be willing to travel 50-60% of the time.
