Job Description

Delta Faucet Company has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced project management professional to join our Indianapolis Information Services (IS) team. The Project Manager supports the IS Project Management Office (PMO) by planning, directing, coordinating and controlling project activities so that projects in the IS portfolio are completed successfully and meet their intended goals.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the PMO and the IS governance function
  • Develop and maintain complex project schedules for larger projects contained in the IS portfolio
  • Proactively manage changes in scope, schedule, resources and budget for all portfolio projects and enhancements
  • Identify any issues/risks to portfolio/program/project success and develop mitigation plans to manage throughout the development life cycle
  • Mentor and coach IS managers with the development and maintenance of smaller projects and the completion of related artifacts in the IS portfolio
  • Create project status reports and steering team presentations that convey project status, milestone achievement, risks, issues and key next steps
  • Monitor the backlog of project demand and assist in the planning of future projects
  • Assist in the monitoring and availability of internal and external (vendor) resources to execute projects. Forecast future vendor needs based on Portfolio Plan and work with the IS Vendor Manager to procure resources in a timely manner
  • Plan and monitor recurring releases of enhancements to ensure all proper artifacts are completed prior to code being migrated to production environments
  • Monitor IS SOX control schedule and ensure controls and documents are executed and maintained
  • Assist in the review IS SOX control test results and resolution of control requests from internal and external auditors
  • Assist in the development of IS Portfolio updates and related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Evaluate and refine project management processes as appropriate and provide training to stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in business or related field. A minimum of 5 years + prior project management experience in an IT ERP environment, preferably SAP is preferred. Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and project management scheduling tools is essential. The ability to properly develop and manage multiple complex project schedules concurrently is also essential.

The successful candidate will have superior written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities. Must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability and desire to function in a team environment. Must possess highly developed facilitation, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills with demonstrated results. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. This position requires limited travel.
