Delta Faucet has an outstanding opportunity for a talent information technology professional to join our corporate Indianapolis office team. The Technical Services Manager is accountable for the application development, application integration, and technical solution architecture across all enterprise applications in support of value creation for our business through technology based solutions.

The position is critical to driving timely delivery of high quality, maintainable solutions from our technical development team. This role collaborates with the Project Management Office (PMO), Business Solutions, and Infrastructure leadership to produce value driven solutions in support of our overall company objectives and roadmap. This role will manage a team of 3-5 people.

This position will specifically be expected to:

  • Manage technical resources (internal & external) to maximum utilization
  • Lead delivery of work items in support of the IS project portfolio
  • Protect and govern solutions through change control and deployment management
  • Drive compliance of incident SLAs for this space
  • Inform and participate in building and maintaining the IS architecture roadmap
  • Ensure solution documentation is accurate, detailed, and up to date
  • Align and communicate priorities for the development team

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Solutions functional teams and the Project Management Office to plan application development resource needs supporting the overall IS portfolio, enhancements, and incident management
  • Provide input necessary to build IS functional roadmaps and the overall IS architecture plan
  • Ensure all enterprise applications have appropriate technical support coverage, including for non-US business hours, and inform external partner strategies as needed
  • Document application development coding standards, documentation standards, and unit test standards that will be adhered to for all applicable enterprise applications
  • Review technical solution proposals to ensure best practices for solution architecture are being utilized
  • Design and facilitate application development quality assurance process
  • Manage delivery of application development on enterprise platform including ERP, EAI, BI and EDI
  • Partner with the Digital delivery organization on design and implementation of integrations between web platforms and other enterprise applications
  • Coach and mentor other technical team members
  • Set direction and priority, manage relationships with technical leadership, and address delivery issues with third party development partners
  • Work with the PMO, Business Solutions, and Vendor Management teams to define and measure the appropriate technical KPIs
  • Oversee unit, integration, user acceptance, regression and performance testing to ensure technical aspects of testing are accounted for properly
  • Develop test plans associated with technical changes in the environment
  • Prepare communications and provide updates to various levels of management throughout the organization – i.e. reports, oral presentations, etc.
  • Facilitate cross-functional conversations with supporting teams such as infrastructure, BASIS, security, etc. as necessary to execute solution delivery
  • Provide hands on development support for critical activities as necessary
  • Produce and manage documentation of solutions via system/application landscape diagrams or other relevant technical documents

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and seven or more years of experience with SAP enterprise applications; or equivalent combination of education of experience. Experience with SAP S/4, SAP BW4H, SAP HANA 2.0, enterprise application integration platforms and EDI is a plus. Incumbent must be able to communicate with various levels of an organization, be flexible to multiple and changing priorities and be able to handle several projects at one time. Must be able to work both as a member of a team and individually on assigned projects. Candidate must be committed to keeping up with technology changes through both formal and informal channels.
