Delta Faucet Company has an awesome new opportunity in our Marketing department as a Visual Merchandising and Trade Show Manager!

The Visual Merchandising and Trade Show Manager is involved in cross-functional coordination including Sales, Marketing (product and brand), external agencies and vendor partners to optimize visual merchandising and display program and positively impact resulting sales demand. The role will be involved in new product development launches, showroom program displays and support, supply chain optimization and field installation and support. Role will support multiple product categories within domestic business. This role currently has no direct reports.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Trade showroom, trade show and event marketing support Display Design (in coordination with Channel Manager lead)
    • Industrial design, material specifications, functional requirements
    • Plan-o-grams, faucet or fixture integration
    • Supporting elements (i.e. lighting, flooring…)
  • Display development
    • Including design, engineering, prototyping, approvals
  • Supply Chain Plan
    • Vendor selection and ongoing relationship
    • Lead times, tooling and quotes
  • Warehousing plan: product staging
  • Installation and Maintenance Plan
    • Individual showroom requirements
    • Coordinate labor with labor vendor, trade agencies, customers
  • Quality Control/Verification Plan/Safety Plan
    • Training and instructions
    • Ongoing maintenance
  • Budget, metrics and continuous improvement plans to ensure best practices
    • Market testing
    • Performance reporting

Education and Experience/Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree from a four year college or university and a minimum of 5-7 years of related marketing (brand, channel or visual merchandising), sales or operational experience; experience in the plumbing / building products industry beneficial. Successful candidate will have an eye for design, remain abreast of emerging marketing and design approaches and be able to effectively apply to job function. Position requires strong collaboration skills, project management skills, creative problem solving and be able to prioritize efforts in a fast-paced, changing environment. This person should also have strong business acumen, customer-orientation and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. Experience managing outside vendors is a plus and a proven history of completing projects on time and on budget is required. Ability to travel is required.
